Please join UCHRI Director Jaimey Fisher and Research Grants Program Manager Brittany Turner for a grants presentation and Q&A. The meeting will take place from 11:30am-1pm on November 17, 2026 in the McCune Conference Room, HSSB. The presentation will cover UCHRI faculty funding opportunities and information about the Grants Committee selection process.
This year UCHRI is offering up to $25,000 grants for collaborative research projects, including extra support for projects connected to its theme of “States of Exception, States of Emergence.” There are also grants for individual faculty members, including “Faculty Summer Research” grants as well as programs like the “UC Underrepresented Faculty Mentorship” program and the “UCHRI Manuscript Workshop and Research Development Program.”
Prospective PIs who would like to talk through a new or existing project are invited to schedule a separate 15-minute Individual Faculty Consultation with UCHRI in the McCune Conference Center immediately following the session.
