Please join the IHC’s Food Studies Research Focus Group for a field trip to the Sol Food Festival, a one-day community-created festival to raise awareness of the Sustainable, Organic, and Local food systems of Santa Barbara County. We will celebrate the local farmers, chefs, organizations and individuals who are working to better our food system and encourage the general public to participate in this growing movement.
The festival runs from 10am to 6pm. We would like to meet with Food Studies RFG members and anyone interested in participating at 1:00 pm at the festival. Limited amount of transportation from Goleta can be provided. Please contact Ali Hendley at ahendley@umail.ucsb.edu for more details and/or to make transportation arrangements.
