School Kids Investigating Language in Life and Society (SKILLS) Research Gallery and Showcase

Nearly 200 students from area high schools and community organizations will present the results of their work within the SKILLS program through a poster session in Corwin Pavilion and multimedia presentations in the MCC Theater from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All are welcome to drop in anytime during the event. Presentations focus on language, identity, power, and culture in the lives of Chicana/o and indigenous Mexican immigrant youth.
