The Food Studies Research Focus Group brings together faculty and graduate students to discuss ongoing research on a variety of food-related topics. These include: the cultural, social and political meanings of food in diverse settings and historical time periods; the environmental and geopolitical impacts of the global industrial food system; and the ways in which food practices express and mark identity.
