Prof. Alfred MacAdam, distinguished scholar and translator of Latin American literature, whose books include Dreams of Reason: Modern Latin American Narratives (Chicago UP), will discuss the creative collaborations of Jorge Luis Borges and Adolfo Bioy Casares under various pseudonyms including H Bustos Domecq. This event is part of the Spanish & Portuguese department seminar “Borges: The Reader as Writer” co-taught by Profs. Castillo and Levine.
